In 1971 Sailmaker de Wit started as an one-man business. Fabricating sails for (competition)sailboats, motorboathoods and cabriolethoods was the main goal.
After ten years the clientele changed and the switch to industrial work was made. The watersport clients were not longer the main branch. Due to this switch our company started to grow very fast.
Oilbooms and floating pipes
Shortly after the start of the company oilbooms and floating pipes were produced. The floating pipes are made of high quality, because we already have more than 45 years of experience in making oilbooms and pipeline floats.
